June’s almost over… one of the most festive times of the year. You might think there’s nothing left for the rest of the year (aside from Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas). But in a city where boredom is never an option, there’s always something in store for you. So for July, Paris got something real for you. Or shall we say… something REEL.
This July, there are two kinds of film or cinema events in Paris. These are events that for sure you can’t say no to.
But before we get there… make sure you will be in Paris on July or you’ll miss these spectacular events. Have you booked an apartment in Paris already? If not, take a look at some Paris apartments in Louvre. They could be the perfect place to stay while you’re on your vacation in Paris. Some Paris rental in Louvre could possibly have discounts if you book early. So hurry!
Going back to our original topic… yes, Paris got something in store for you this July.
There’s an Open-Air Cinema at the Parc de la Villette. There’s also a Paris Cinema Festival. Both events are centered in showing the people different films both in French and in English (or in French with English subtitles).
The Open-Air Cinema would be at the Main Entrance of Cità de Sciences et de L'Industrie, 30 rue Corentin-Cariou, 19th arrondissement. This would be on July 19 to August 21. There, you get to experience watching movies outdoors! You can sit on the lawn or rent some chaises lounges for just a small charge. This would be one great activity if you would love to just sit back and enjoy the moment with family and friends. It doesn’t cost much, plus you’ll enjoy the company of other people who enjoy this kind of activity. For more info on the event and its schedule, you can log on to http://www.villette.com/agenda/Cinema-en-plein-air-2011.htm.
On the other corner, we have the Paris Cinema Festival from July 2 to 13, 2011. This festival of French movies is located in many locations not only in Paris but also the entire Europe. And just like any other festivals, the movies are in French and from different independent film makers. For more information on where you could watch the films click here. May these events be great suggestions for your Paris tour this July. Enjoy the movies and enjoy Paris!
