Loving Louvre

It is, without any question, one of the most beautiful museum there is in the world. It is architecturally perfect. It is, in all means, a perfect example of beauty. This historic landmark, which stood (and still standing) in the heart of Paris since 1793, has housed previous leaders like Francois I and the Sun King, Louis XIV. It is housed in the Louvre Palace - a palace that was built little by little in every new leader in France.

This 652,300 square feet contains 35,000 works of art even from the pre-historic times. The Louvre opened in August 10, 1793, with 537 painting exhibits. Although it was closed during 1796 to 1801, it has collected more and more collections during Napoleon's time.

Its location is pretty much easy to locate since it is at the center of Paris on the Right Bank. It is also near to fastfood chains, shopping malls, and the Carousel de Louvre.
